When your kids get ready to tackle history, I suggest you go to a second hand bookshop or online at ABEbooks and get them the works of Henri Daniel Rops which is great Catholic History. In fact if you havent read them i suggest you do it will add a whole new perspective on history. Henri Rops books are actually imprimatured by the Catholic Church
